I remember fondly his children Maggy and Gunther and have some early photos.
I have wondered for years , after losing touch, how they were doing , finally to search the net...
Reading your tribute to them has closed a circle for me. No surprise to me that Marty was a dynamic mover in labor advoeacy. He was a passionate man and stayed true to his principle..
D. My favorite quote by him remains, "Don't stand in my office talking about doing something. Go to your desk and do it." I loved him and I got to know Bob Fitch through him, and I'm filled with remorse that I didn't keep up with them over the years. I guess I thought they'd be around forever.Minkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03640289309983372777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8030562294206112625.post-42500376639914398632012-06-19T10:41:07.200-07:002012-06-19T10:41:07.200-07:00Shocking. You really caught his essence. I remember him talking about his visits to Oxford and speaking to your class. Thank you for writing this heartfelt tribute.santafetravelerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16332611920948809045noreply@blogger.com
